Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
this school is full of some of the most horrible people. privileged rich white students abound. if you like people who legitimately think reverse racism is a real thing and treat their black/latino maintenance workers like shit, emerson is the place for you. i'm transferring because i'm sick of being told i'm "like, not even latina because you act so white!" i also feel like the only lower middle class person in this entire school. if you want people who base their liberal standing off of more than being accepting of the LGBTQ community (which is wonderful, but kind of sucks when you're saying the n word in the same breath) do not go here. also, if you don't have piles of money laying around (which everyone here seems to have) and you're bound to scholarships, trust me, this will be a waste of your time. emerson is known so well for their extracurriculars, which admittedly are spectacular. their classes are subpar, which those of us who are hanging onto scholarships need to focus on. go somewhere that will give you more bang for your buck, and less horrible people.
