Southeastern is great if you want an academic education in order to prepare you for a PhD. However, if you are looking for a place to grow spiritually and become prepared for the ministry this is not the school for you. There is a huge focus on legalism, academics and baptist politics, but little time is spent on prayer, spiritual warfare or ministry preparation. I earned an MDiv with a 3.48 GPA so I could do the work, the problem is that all that effort did not prepare me for the ministry at all. My suggestion is that you look somewhere else.
